Grow Hair
I know that there are lots of products on the market that
claim you can grow hair. Though I know it probably is not nice
to tease people who are balding, my brother doesn’t seem to
mind. His hairline has been receding since he was 18 years old,
and he often jokes about finding new ways to grow hair.
This has come to be somewhat of a family joke, and he is
usually the one who initiates the joking. While we know that
there is no way to really grow hair that has been lost forever,
it doesn’t mean we don’t find good humor in his efforts.
When I say that my brother has tried them all, I mean every
word of it. If the products claims to grow hair, he has tried
it. He has had lotions, sprays, pills, and anything else you
can think of in his possession. The end results were always the
same. E
ach year his hairline continues to recede, and there has not
been one new hair growth in that area. He hasn’t given up hope
though, and as far as I know, he may be saving up for
transplant surgery.
If something promises you that it can help you grow hair,
you might want to stop and think. Though products like Rogaine
have been on the market for quite a while, I have never
actually met anyone who says it works.
When I cleaned houses in college for my living expenses, I
saw a lot of Rogaine in many different bathrooms. I don’t know
if it works to grow hair, but there are many people who tried.
I suspect if I went back to those same bathrooms now, Rogaine
would no longer be in their medicine cabinet.
If going bald is not your problem, you want to grow hair
longer. There are some things that you can do. The best thing
you can do is to get a trim every month or every six weeks.
Though this may sound like it contradicts your efforts, believe
me when I say this is very important. Hair that is not trimmed
begins to split on the ends.
If those splits or not trimmed off, your hair will break off
and will never grow. It may seem counterproductive to trim hair
when you want to grow hair, but give it a try for six months
and see what happens.
